Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Executive who brings a blend of project execution excellence, client-facing leadership, and industry name recognition to support business growth and operational success. This role requires a proven leader who can manage complex projects from preconstruction through closeout, build and maintain client relationships, and play an active role in business development through established industry presence and professional reputation.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide executive-level leadership for multiple high-value construction projects across various sectors (commercial, healthcare, public works, etc.).
  • Oversee project performance related to budget, schedule, risk mitigation, safety, and quality.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure adherence to strategic goals, client expectations, and contract obligations.
  • Guide project delivery throughout all phases, from preconstruction through turnover.
Client Relations & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring consistent communication and long-term satisfaction.
  • Anticipate client needs, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain a trusted advisor relationship throughout and beyond the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company in high-level meetings, site visits, and presentations.
  • Leverage understanding of client operations and goals to propose tailored project solutions and future opportunities.
Business Development & Industry Presence
  • Actively participate in business development strategy, supporting client acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Use your name recognition and industry network to enhance company visibility, reputation, and deal flow.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, respond to RFPs, and contribute to winning proposals.
  • Attend industry events, panels, and networking functions to maintain and expand influence.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, and field leaders.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration across project teams.
  • Assist in talent recruitment, resource planning, and leadership succession planning.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects ($25M+).
  • Proven success in client-facing roles and an ability to maintain long-term relationships with private and public clients.
  • Recognized industry presence with a well-established professional network.
  • Deep knowledge of construction operations, delivery methods (GC/CM, Design-Build, IPD), and project controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (required); Master’s or MBA (preferred).
