Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Project Executive to oversee and manage multiple commercial construction projects in Los Angeles, CA. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring successful project execution, driving business development, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Project Executive will provide oversight for project teams, manage financial performance, and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Leadership:

• Provide executive-level oversight for multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies that align with company goals and client expectations.
• Monitor project financials, risk factors, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers and superintendents to ensure smooth day-to-day construction operations.

Business Development & Client Relations:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and public works construction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, and key stakeholders.
• Lead proposal development, bid preparation, and contract negotiations to secure high-value projects.
• Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry meetings.

Financial & Strategic Planning:

• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Work with senior leadership to set company growth targets and revenue objectives.
• Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and economic conditions affecting the construction industry.
• Provide recommendations for corporate investments, operational improvements, and resource planning.

Team Development & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide training and career development opportunities for project managers and engineers.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the organization.

Quality, Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Enforce risk management strategies to minimize delays, legal exposure, and cost overruns.
• Collaborate with the safety team to promote a safe working environment across all job sites.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 12+ years in construction project management, including at least 5 years in an executive or leadership role.
• Industry Expertise: Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, or public works projects in Los Angeles.
• Business Development Skills: Strong track record in client acquisition, contract negotiations, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability analysis.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, and other construction management tools.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
