Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Executive with strong leadership abilities to oversee project management operations while driving business development initiatives. This role requires a seasoned construction professional with the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, develop client relationships, and strategically position the company for continued growth. The Project Executive will serve as a key leader, ensuring successful project delivery while identifying and securing new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and public works sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Leadership:
  • Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects, ensuring successful execution within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to resolve project challenges and optimize performance.
  • Conduct project reviews, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), financials, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop strategies for improving project delivery, risk management, and resource allocation.
Business Development & Client Relations:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and public works construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead proposal development, bid preparation, and contract negotiations to secure high-value projects.
  • Represent the company at industry networking events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Work with marketing and leadership teams to develop sales strategies, market expansion plans, and branding efforts.
Financial & Strategic Planning:
  • Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
  • Participate in executive-level decision-making, setting company growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor strategies, and economic factors affecting construction demand.
  • Provide input on corporate expansion, resource investments, and operational improvements.
Team Development & Mentorship:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, estimators, and field staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct leadership training sessions and performance evaluations to support team growth.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee risk management strategies to mitigate project delays, legal exposure, and financial losses.
  • Foster a culture of safety excellence, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12+ years in construction project management, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong background in commercial, industrial, or public works construction.
  • Business Development Skills: Proven track record of securing high-value contracts and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage project financials, budget forecasting, and profit margins.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and team-building skills.
