Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Executive to oversee and lead large-scale commercial construction projects. The Project Executive will be responsible for ensuring project success by managing client relationships, overseeing budgets and schedules, and driving operational excellence. This senior leadership role requires a proven ability to deliver complex construction projects on time and within budget while fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Strategy:
    • Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve project objectives, including cost, schedule, and quality targets.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
  2. Client and Stakeholder Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and public agencies.
    • Lead client meetings, presentations, and progress reviews to ensure transparency and alignment.
  3. Project Oversight:
    • Monitor project performance to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Oversee project managers and teams, providing guidance on risk management, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
    • Conduct regular reviews of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Ensure project budgets are developed, maintained, and aligned with financial goals.
    • Oversee cost management processes, including change orders, forecasting, and invoicing.
    • Drive profitability by identifying cost-saving measures and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  5. Team Development and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams to ensure high performance and morale.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across the organization.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth opportunities for team members.
  6. Quality and Safety Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
    • Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Oversee QA/QC programs and ensure corrective actions are implemented as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in construction management, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project budgets, profitability, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
