Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced
Lead Construction Superintendent to oversee
K-12, tilt-wall, and large medical projects from preconstruction through project completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality results in line with project goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Leadership: Direct and oversee all field operations for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and specifications.
- Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and materials to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to uphold project quality, resolve issues proactively, and ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and communication.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary on-site representative, fostering positive relationships with clients, architects, and consultants.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, minimizing waste, and assisting in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation to track project performance and resolve any issues promptly.
- Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays by providing solutions that maintain efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction, with at least 2+ years in a lead superintendent role.
- Proven track record managing K-12, tilt-wall, and large medical projects exceeding $50M in scope.
- In-depth knowledge of tilt-wall construction techniques, structural systems, and healthcare facility requirements.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality assurance, and construction best practices.
- Experience with project scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with high accuracy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore (or similar construction management software).
- OSHA 30 Certification required; additional safety certifications preferred.
