Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled
Superintendent with
K-12 school construction experience and a strong understanding of
DSA field protocols. This role requires proven expertise in
managing school job sites, coordinating with DSA inspectors, and ensuring strict adherence to
state education building standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily on-site construction operations for DSA-regulated K-12 school projects.
- Coordinate all field activities including scheduling, subcontractor supervision, and site safety.
- Work closely with DSA inspectors, project managers, and school district officials to ensure compliance.
- Enforce DSA-approved plans, monitor field quality, and ensure successful inspections and certifications.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, safety reports, and field documentation required for public agency projects.
- Conduct and lead jobsite meetings, pre-task planning, and weekly safety talks.
Qualifications: - 7–10+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience, with a focus on K-12 and DSA work.
- Expertise in DSA processes, building code compliance, and school site construction phasing.
- Strong leadership skills to direct field teams, coordinate trades, and communicate with school administrators.
- Proficiency with field software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
Preferred Certifications: - OSHA 30
- DSA Project Inspector Class 2 or 3 certification (a plus)
- First Aid/CPR
